Kaluga Region authorities and CLW Group sign agreement on automobile plant construction
Kaluga Region. A plant for the production of light commercial vehicles will be built in Kaluga. The corresponding agreement was signed by CLW Group and the regional government.
The enterprise will be located on the territory of Grabtsevo Park.
It is planned to invest 900 million rubles in the implementation of the first stage, the total investment in the project is estimated at 2 billion rubles.
The Kaluga Region still maintains high investment attractiveness, which was facilitated by the Days of the Kaluga Region at the Russia exhibition at Exhibition of Achievements of National Economy and in the Federation Council.
The investment agreement and contract are planned to be signed at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum in June of this year and construction will be launched. The plant will be built within three years.
The enterprise will produce ten different modifications of light commercial vehicles. CLW-Group also plans to establish cooperation with local suppliers and subcontractors to ensure maximum localization of production. This will reduce logistics costs and increase the competitiveness of products.
